CONCLUDING REMARKS

Despite some challenges related to restructuration, the organization has been able to strive towards the sustainability of its activities. In 2017, the departments of communication and administration, have focused their attention on ongoing projects as well as on the continued internal growth of FAS’s organizational structure. Thanks to its participation in international dialogues and consultations, FAS was able to continue to expand its network and to establish more partnerships with the organizations concerned. The organization continued to play its role as a facilitator and engine for the implementation of Resolution 1325. FAS was able to push governments for gender mainstreaming in policies and programs and empower women. The organization plans to strengthen its reach by contributing to advocate and influence policies at the national and regional levels for women, peace, and security. Moreo
